Memorializing The Day
I love patriotic holidays. They're days we put aside politics and pay respects to the men and women who serve/d our country...by going out and enjoying the freedoms they gave up. I can't say I understand how that whole arrangement was reached, but I'll be damned if I don't try and do my part.
This year that meant a trip out to Fire Island with the roomies.
