Pigging Out

After dreaming about its tender offerings for years, we finally hit up Ssäm Bar's bo ssäm for Laurie's birthday lunch earlier today. A roasted whole pork butt, a dozen oysters, and all the fixin's to enjoy it properly. I try not to post too many food pictures unless there's a story to go along with the food, but bo ssäm is one of those things that's just meant to be shared.

Midway through the madness. I know they're different things, but Korean BBQ's just not going to be the same after this. Fun fact: bo ssäm is available for to-go orders.

When I used to live with Laurie and Case, you could find her shoes hiding in almost every corner of the apartment. She brought these out to play today.

Of course, it's also St. Patrick's Day. Revelers everywhere.

Wasn't up to braving the pub crawlers today (yet, anyway). Dessert instead.
